In the season premiere, "Homecoming", that aired this past Saturday, the TT meet the Doom Patrol, of which Elastigirl is a member(she predates Giant Man). This isn't a one time appearance, either. The Doom Patrol will be appearing again in this series.
Can't believe I missed the Teen Titans premiere on Saturday :-o …good thing it repeats tonight (Monday) at 7:30PM Eastern.
I have elasti-girls first comic apearance, along with the first few issues of doom patrol. I also have very old Teen Titan issues. When will they add that young amazon like wonderwoman to the show. She was an original Titan. :?

Probably never. They left out Kid Flash as well. I guess they didn't want "kid" versions of Wonder Woman and the Flash co-exisisting in the same universe. I think the character dynamic would be off if they tried to add more people permanently to the team (though I hope Jericho shows up eventually). But who knows? They might introduce them as Titans reserve members like they did with Aqualad and Speedy.

Jericho WILL be showing up later in the series, as will Kid Flash.
Unfortunetly, due to legal snags, Wonder girl will not be showing up anytime soon in any sort of actual role. Just easter eggs(like the end of part 2 of the TT ep with the Doom Patrol, "Homecoming pt. 2")
Yeah, I was pretty stoked when I found out that Jericho WAS making an appearance. I wonder how they will handle his connection to Slade (if any) or if Ravager (the Grant Wilson incarnation of course) will make an appearance as well. Probably not unless they devote a story arc to the Wilson family, which seems pretty unlikely.
Of course I probably won't get to see any of these episodes due to the once a week CN programming and the fact that I have to work EVERY SINGLE SATURDAY NIGHT. I used to catch the JLA/U and Titans on Sunday evenings, but in their brilliance, they decided to air crap like ANIMAL SUMMER CAMP or whatever it is.
Elastigirl? Wow, I'm amazed how the incredibles never managed to infringe that copyright. Will she be the same as the Disney Elastigirl, it terms of her powers?

Elasti-Girl predates The Incredibles by a few years, Androxi.

Still, there is the question of infringement… did Disney/Pixar pay DC for the right to use the name? or are we going to see a lawsuit filed by DC/TimeWarner against Disney/Pixar any time now?
(although I'd assume that if DC wanted to sue, they'd have done so by now…)
They probably paid a royalty, otherwise we'd have heard something…

indeed its all good…lookie here
The superheroine Elastigirl isn't the first one to use that name. Elasti-Girl is a member of the Doom Patrol, a DC Comics team whose adventures were published from 1963 to 1968, as well as in a new series that started in June 2004. The comic Elasti-Girl cannot stretch her body; she possesses the ability to alter her size. DC Comics allowed Pixar to use the "Elastigirl" name only within the movie itself. In all related promotions (toys, games, advertising), she is named "Mrs. Incredible", as well as "Soccer Mom".

Ah!! Quite a few things make sense now… such as why the costumed character they had at the Disney-MGM Studios for awhile was being referred to as "Mrs. Incredible"!
Thanks for the info!!

Exactly what legal snags prevents them from using Wonder Girl in Teen Titans? Wonder Girl isn't being used anywhere else.
They should do an origin episode for Elastigirl. Where she discovers her powers by accident, and ruins whatever outfit she had on.
I know thats not how it went in the comics, nor will it be an episode, but a guy can dream, can't he?

The creative teams were afraid it'd confuse people. On top of that, DCs Legal Department may also not have wanted to field the complaints as to why THEIR Wonder Girl idea was shot out of the sky when TT and JLU both used a similar idea.
