I just found out about this girl last week, she’s only 16 but has already broken three British under-18 powerlifting records, can lift twice her own bodyweight and pull her dad’s van!
She’s competing at the British Bench Press Championships on the 11th, let’s hope she does well. Here’s the links to a couple of articles about her and a video from BBC Scotland, I think you’ll all agree she’s very impressive.
She was on the One Show on Friday - let’s hope she goes on to achieve in her sport. B)
I found out today that Bronwyn won a gold and a silver medal at her bench-press compaction on Saturday, and will now be representing Brittan at the world finals in May. Here’s a link to the article Link .

I read somewhere that she her goal is the 2016 Olympics.
I also read somewhere that she is already 5’10, so far.
She is going to be a big gal when the next Olympics comes around.

In weightlifting? That’s a long frame to fill up and it takes more time for tall lifters to get good.
If those numbers are really the records I could make some comment about the level of the competition but not going to. All the best for her.
