Power Girl’s new 52 look.

DC has found a way to completelly annihilate over 80 years of publishing history.
Fem Supreme anyone?
You mean suprema? Already been done ![]()

wtf is with those witchblade gauntlets on her forearm? Is she going to be some sort of Amazon now? That costume sucks.
The Time/Life WW2 picture of the crying frenchman says it all. ![]()
 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
facepalm
If anyone needs me I’ll be crying over my Powergirl comics for a couple of years…
Yikes, Fem Suprema was obviously drawn by Liefield, check out the crooked eyes.
Anyway, I think Power Girl’s new costume makes her look like a D-list superhero generic. I can easily see her now as a “Star Hawk” or “Genesis Woman” ugh just so generic.
Now granted, I wasn’t really a fan of the original power girl costume either, but this one is not much of an improvement.
It’s about damn time!.. Now, can she act. I honestly think Perez knows what he’s doin’
I don’t know those turkeys.
Not to many people are happy with DC’s “New 52” and I can see the why’s and the what fors etc… but I was looking at the Perez cover and see that Supergirl and a female Robin are in the background. Now everyone knows that Powergirl, pre-crisis was Kara Zor-L cousin to the Earth-2 Superman and that the Huntress is the daughter of millionaire now deceased police commissioner Bruce Wayne of the sed earth. So in the new 52 what does Supergirl and a female robin have to do wth the origin of the new “wprlds’ finest” team? Only time will tell, We’ll learn our answer in or around May
Between Marvel’s pseudo-reboot with M-Day and OMD, and DC’s total reboot with New 52 and this…
Yeah, I quit comics. ![]()
PG’s boobwindow is as sacred as Superman’s cape or Captain America’s shield in my book - you do NOT screw with it.
I will have to draw PG my own way then… ultrabuff and with a wider opening in the front..! ![]()
It’s 1:30 A.M. and I’m rubbing my eyes, watched four episodes of the Dark Shadows TV show and am very tired  My comicbook store friend just came back from C2E2 in Chicago and promised me that the new “Worlds’ Finest” will be very interesting. As far as PeeGee’s costume goes… well fellas all I can say is buck up, put up and shut up.
All you spoiled boys with the big libidos forget that there were several issues of “All Star Squadron” where Wood put no booby hatch in her costume and no one cared, and seriously I agreed with him that a full body leotard leaves more for the imagination. Another example was the issue of Detective that introduced the yellow circle around the bat, Julie (Julius) Schwartz was asked why he did it. He said because he could!
So I guess what I’m saying is nothing is stopping you from your fantasy drawings of a rough, tough power girl with muscles and boobs to match. just remember to do three things… 1) pull up your zipper and adjust yourself, 2) clean off the paper before you close your drawing tablets, 3) and most important wash your hands after every use. :woohoo:

Theres more to comics than marvel and dc.
Well I don’t care what people say… I REFUSE TO JUDGE ON THE 1ST ISSUE ALONE
That’s my stand and I’m sticking to it… I’ve been reading DC, Marvel, Archie, Charleston and Gold Key since 1961 (that’s 54 yrs). I’ve seen the good, the ugly and the indifferent. Tomorrow is “Free Comic Book” day, support your local Comic book store.
You forgot Dell,
which Gold Key took over its line of Disney/MGM/WB/etal titles
and ended (in 1982?) as Whitman.
 B)
Gold Key even had it own line of non-cartoon character titles, as well as television series adaptations. A few of them have been resurrected by Indy publishers - Magus Robot Fighter, Doctor Solar & Turok Son of Stone.
Western Publishing’s subscription service would no doubt send many today into fits of outrage and/or tears. No protective paper envelope or plastic baggy for them, they just slapped an
(non-removable) address-mailing label onto the cover and sent it on its way to your USPS mail box.
As I said, I will insist… B)

also available in the original..
…Granted that has nothing to do with Powergirl GWHH…but yeah, nice to see Fairchild in that outfit.
