Just a heads up. Super-artist Wreckshop has begun posting in earnest again on his blog. Anyone who knows his stuff knows that this is great news.

Ahh… such goodness! His name even became a noun to describe such massiveness as being "Wrecked"! I just posted on his blog after being amazed by his monthly output. Great to have him back!

Wreckwhop is, and always has been a phenomenal artist.
His attention to detail goes without question, and his ability to massively
layer the muscle on a female physique has always been exciting to see.
Glad to see that he is drawing again, wonderful.
I'm so glad he's Returned. His art always gave me ALOT of inspiration ;).
He's back? Oh hell…
Ugh, I hated Wreck.
Nice to hear, Can't deny the fact that hes got some amazing skills.

Think you could elaborate on that a bit?

Could you and the comadre take care of this with private messaging? Those of us who like the guy's artwork are talking here.
Mr. Shhh, though the update is greatly appreciated, I wouldn't post the work of an artist I admired on another forum without his permission (especially one where he's derided).
I didn't think he was derided here, I'm pleased to see he's doing work again. Hopefully he's found a better job so he doesn't fall into those crazy depression mood swings.

I'm not exactly who you were calling the "comadre" (and I think you meant "comrade", but I'm not sure - "comadre" means godmother in Spanish). I know I didn't say that I didn't like Wreck's work; in fact, I was asking for clarification with regard to Muffin Man's vague (and somewhat hostile) post. I daresay such clarification would be considered on-topic; - just because it isn't all about singing puppies and sentient rainbows and God Himself smiling down from the heavens with regard to Wreck's "return" doesn't mean it's somehow off-topic to this thread.
M. Dean is just trying to protect the artists' rights and keep the posts here about the work. Not everybody has to be a fan of course, though it would be nice if outwardly hostile comments were kept to one's self.
I did run my posting by Wreck and he said it was cool. He's quite a fan of what this board represents and the hard work that Lingster and the others have done to make it so great.
He may have meant compadre which is something different altogether. ![]()

Are the VERY, VERY good days of the FMG back??
Im so happy. Im not even going to be witty.
Im just really. Very. Very happy. I only got interested in FMG on this scale long after the poor man had fallen away. And now hes back.
Screw not being witty. Im going to go put huge holes in the wall now with my freaking happy.
:"D
I don't know how I missed these pics the first time around.

Then I thank you both for sharing these drawings. I'd not seen them either!

All the more reason for his professed fans to not indulge haters.
I just think it's a cheap shot to say you hate a guy in a topic about the guy's artwork, but I realize that's the purpose these forums serve for some. And I know its best to ignore posts that irk me (if I don't want to instigate self-defensively cruel repartee–nobody likes to be told he's wrong), but I prefer to say it stinks! If one person can rag on a person unnecessarily, then I can suggest that it can be done elsewhere, unnecessarily. It doesn't have to be tolerated, and sometimes silence equals agreement.
AbyssPlanet, I don't understand why you care why the Muffin Man hates the guy, and like Mr. Shhh, I'd rather a topic about Wreck stay positive–which it wouldn't if we encourage Muffin Man to engage in gossip (which is all he would be doing). That's why I called him a comadre, which, as you noted, literally means "godmother." Colloquially, it means a "gossip"…
Good arts, not seen much of his stuff before.
Alas, one of those things I guess I will never completely comprehend.

Well, my post wasn't that clear - Muffin Man's comment was a cheap-shot at Wreck, and my post was a subtle cheap-shot at Muffin Man, who is a bit of a serial troll on these forums. I try to put serial trolls on the spot when possible; I've found that it makes it easier for the moderators to notice them and take appropriate action that way. I assure you, I wasn't siding with Muffin Man on the issue, and in fact your response to him (and me) was essentially the sort of response I was aiming for. ![]()
cough Yeah, since like, this was meant to be about Wreckshop's art, not a discussion of others and/or their negative oppinions of people, although we already knew that..
Damn he's talented, glad to him back. Hoo ha!
